Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the partial influence of working environment and organizational culture on job satisfaction. In addition to know the influence of simultaneously work environment and organizational culture to job satisfaction and to know the dominant variable affecting job satisfaction.The number of samples in the study were 50 employees in one of the freight forwarding company (EMKL) in Surabaya. Sampling is done by random sampling of 173 employees who are in the company.Analytical techniques that the authors do is by using inferential stastistik among other validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis and t test and F test. Findings from this study.There is a positive and significant influence partially between organizational culture and work environment to job satisfaction.There is a positive and significant influence simultaneously between organizational culture and work environment on job satisfaction.Work environment is a variable that has a dominant effect on job satisfaction.
